Case study - Bingbangbong

Bingbangbong have celebrated their tenth anniversary by becoming our latest corporate partners and official sponsors of the Asian elephant enclosure.

Bingbangbong design and manufacture outdoor musical instruments for educational and public play and provide complimentary musical resources for non-musician teachers.

Bing Bang Bong founder and managing director Paul Marshall said, "We are absolutely delighted to further develop our relationship with Belfast Zoo. Just like the elephants, our no-nonsense outdoor musical instruments are extremely robust and will be around for a very long time.

"As part of our partnership, we have installed a set of pentatonic musical instruments in the zoo's play area. The no-wrong-notes tuning means that they have been immediately popular among visitors, zoo staff and even with the lemurs (although, for safety, we definitely do not recommend climbing on the equipment unless you are a lemur)!"

Bing Bang Bong have used some of their benefits as partners to provide an exciting prize for their latest competition and are inviting local schoolchildren to send in suggestions to name the baby elephant in their logo.

The school that proposes the winning name will win a set of small dragon chimes for the school, a tour of the zoo, a special behind-the-scenes visit to the elephants and a demonstration of the zoo instruments.
