Percy's Picnic Pitstop

Percy's Penguin Pitstop is located by the main entrance to the zoo. It's open 10am to 6pm (weekends only).

Here, you can pick up all your picnic essentials, including:

• freshly brewed tea, coffee and hot chocolate
• a selection of cold drinks
• sandwiches
• confectionery
• fresh popcorn and candyfloss
• whipped ice-cream.

Please be aware that there are no credit or debit card facilities available at Percy's Penguin Pitstop. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The Lion's Den Restaurant

The Lion's Den Restaurant is located at the start of the 'Avenue walk'. It is open from 10am to 5pm.

The Restaurant serves:

• soup
• sandwiches, wraps and ciabattas
• hot meals
• hot and cold drinks
• ice cream
• tray bakes.

Credit and debit card facilities are available at the Lion's Den Restaurant.

Kids' parties

Book a private room in the Lion's Den for your special occasion. Party meals cost £4.95 per child. Select from the following meals:

• chicken nuggets, chips and a carton of fruit juice
• sausages, beans, chips and a carton of fruit juice
• sandwich, crisps and a carton of fruit juice.

The Treetop Tearoom

The Treetop Tearoom is located at the top of the zoo and has stunning views of both Cave Hill and Belfast Lough. It's open 11am to 5pm.

The Tearoom serves:

• soup
• sandwiches and wraps
• sausage rolls
• hot and cold drinks
• confectionery
• ice cream.

Please be aware that there are no credit or debit card facilities.

Picnic lunches

Bringing a group to the zoo? Why not pre-book your picnic lunch?

A child lunch bag costs £4.95 and includes:

• freshly made sandwich
• bag of crisps or a piece of fruit
• carton of juice.

An adult lunch bag costs £5.95 and includes:

• deep filled sandwich
• bag of crisps or a piece of fruit
• tea, coffee or a bottle of water.
