We're home to one of Northern Ireland's most iconic native species, the red squirrel. Taisie, Shesk and Oisin arrived at Belfast Zoo in 2012 and have moved into red squirrel nook, a new interactive and educational exhibit. They will form the first NI breeding project for this species.

Last admission - 5pm
Animal houses close at 6pm
Zoovenir Shop closes at 6pm

Getting to the zoo

Belfast Zoo is located on Antrim Road in north Belfast, just off the M2 motorway. We are 15 minutes from Belfast city centre by car and are easy to reach by bus or train.
