Animal adoption

All our animals are available for adoption.

Adoption lasts for one year and gives you or your group the chance to contribute to the cost of feeding and looking after rare and endangered species.

The packages also make great gifts for friends or family members.

All the money raised through our adoption scheme will help us to care for our animals.

Options

We have three adoption packages. They are:

Bronze

This package costs £50 and includes:

• personalised certificate
• copy of the zoo's magazine, Zoo Crack
• car sticker
• fact sheet about the animal of your choice
• Belfast Zoo pen
• free subscription to our e-newsletter
• an invitation to an exclusive sponsors' evening.

Silver

This package costs £150 and includes:

• four free individual tickets to the zoo
• zoo keyring
• photo of your chosen animal
• guided tour of the zoo (during July or August only for a maximum of eight people)
• personalised certificate
• copy of the zoo's magazine, Zoo Crack
• car sticker
• fact sheet about the animal of your choice
• Belfast Zoo pen
• free subscription to our e-newsletter
• an invitation to an exclusive sponsors' evening.

Gold

This package costs £300 and includes:

• eight free individual tickets to the zoo
• the chance to meet the zookeeper who manages your chosen animal and learn about how it is looked after
• you may also gain access to areas which are normally restricted to the public
• zoo keyring
• photo of your chosen animal
• guided tour of the zoo (during July or August only for a maximum of eight people)
• personalised certificate
• copy of the zoo's magazine, Zoo Crack
• car sticker
• fact sheet about the animal of your choice
• Belfast Zoo pen
• free subscription to our e-newsletter
• an invitation to an exclusive sponsors' evening.

All the animals in the zoo are available for adoption.

Please note that our adoption scheme is not open to commercial companies who want to sponsor an animal or enclosure.

Instead, we offer a range of corporate partnership opportunities for commercial businesses.
