Work experience
Work placements are co-ordinated by Belfast City Council.

We can only accept work experience requests if you are aged 18 or over and attending an animal-related course at college or university.
Academic and postgraduate opportunities
All proposals for academic research about the zoo should be submitted to our education team.
They will then take your pitch to our research committee for approval.
The committee is made up of representatives from Queen's University, Belfast and staff from the zoo.
