Lifelong learning for wildlife lovers

Older people are being invited to discover more about wildlife conservation and native species at Belfast Zoo next month, as part of the Belfast Festival of Learning.

We will host our first ‘Wildlife in Danger’ workshops which will include learning around habitat destruction, illegal hunting and animal trade, as well as exploring the reasons why some of the world’s animal species are facing extinction today.

These lifelong learning events will take place on 6 and 7 March as part of the Belfast Festival of Learning. The festival aims to engage local citizens in learning and inspire interest and enjoyment through interactive learning events and workshops. It caters for all interests and abilities, from the very young to still young-at-heart.
