Belfast Zoo has a ‘ZOO-RASSIC DINO DEAL’ for all of their visitors this November, to celebrate the arrival of the Natural History Museum’s iconic Diplodocus dinosaur skeleton, Dippy, to the Ulster Museum!

Stomp on over to Belfast Zoo on 18 November to enjoy a ‘RAWR-some’ 25% off family, adult and child tickets!*

All children aged four to 16 who visit will also receive a prehistoric pack with puzzles, activity sheets, colouring in and a trail to follow around the zoo!

You can even get ready to be transported millions of years back in time with interactive touch tables.  The zoo team will be joined by the Ulster Museum, who will have a replica of Dippy the diplodocus’ skull on display.

Zoo Manager, Alyn Cairns, said “I am delighted that Belfast Zoo is taking part in the events and promotions taking place across the city to celebrate Dippy’s stay in Belfast!  Everyone loves dinosaurs and they share many characteristics with the incredible species that we care for today.  Dinosaurs disappeared from the planet millions of years ago and Dippy serves an important reminder about the ever-present threat of extinction faced by many of the species that we care for today.  To understand the fate of the dinosaurs is to highlight the need to protect species facing increasing threats today.  The last thing we want is for future generations to only be able to see elephants, tigers, apes and other iconic and threatened species in a museum because they too have suffered the same fate.”
