We are pleased to announce the official launch of the William Brown Award.
The William Brown Award is an award created in collaboration with the Friends of the Zoo group. The William Brown Award was created to honour the memory of the late William Brown who devoted his life to both education and conservation. The award pays respect to the late William Brown by carrying on his name and conservation legacy.
The award will be open to young people aged between 8 and 16. You can enter the award as an as a school group, community group or an individual. The award will be based around native conservation, and young people are invited to submit a variety of work for judging. This could be a poster, presentation, an essay or anything else creative!
There will be a winner chosen from each category, with a £100 cash prize for the winners. One overall winner will be chosen, and will receive a £250 cash prize.
