Lady`s latest litter

Whilst the Belfast Marathon was well underway, Belfast Zoo visitors were enjoying the drums and dancing of African culture day, and the surprise new arrivals of eight piglets in the morning!

Lady, the zoo’s female Gloucestershire old spot pig, gave birth to eight piglets on May Day. The piglets are staying close to mum, who will remain very protective over the coming days. Lady is no stranger to visitors doting on new piglets; this is her third litter in a year. Belfast Zoo are delighted with the adorable new arrivals.
