Boris and Charlie

Boris and Charlie

January 2008

Barbary lions Boris and Charlie were born in November 2007.

They were discovered by keeper Pat Hayes when he noticed our female lion, Fidda, was reluctant to leave the lions’ den.

They have been accepted into the zoo’s pride of lions and are currently on show in the lions’ paddock.

Boris is lighter in colour than Charlie.
