Easter Extravaganza

Young girl getting her face painted2 - 6 April 2010

Easter is one of the busiest times of the year in the zoo as we invite visitors to celebrate with our animals. New animals for this Easter include our Visayan warty pig, pygmy goats and Easter bunnies.

You can take part in a wide range of activities, including face-painting, egg rolls and our animal characters.

Egg-rolling takes place at the lake at 11.30am and 2pm.

For more information, call us on 028 9077 6277 or email events@belfastzoo.co.uk

Please be aware during Easter you may experience an increased volume of traffic on the Antrim and Whitewell Roads in North Belfast.

There are 2 car parks in the zoo and they get full very quickly over Easter.

On Easter Monday and Tuesday you can also park your car in the Valley Leisure Centre and use the shuttle bus to the zoo. A bus will run every 15 minutes depending on traffic in the area.
