Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Bring your glass and plastic to the zoo and leave it in our permanent recycling banks.

The banks are located in the zoo’s main car park.

Unwanted clothes can also be left at our main reception desk where they are used for animal enrichment activities with our chimpanzees and gorillas.

You can also recycle a wide variety of materials (including paper, plastic bottles and cardboard) at Alexandra Park Recycling Centre, which is located at 180 Alexandra Park Avenue, Belfast, just off Antrim Road.
