Name our newest couple!

19 February 2010
We have launched our latest competition to give someone the chance of naming our two new pygmy goats as part of a once-in-a-lifetime prize. We would like suggestions for the names of our male and female goats, and reasons behind them.
Not only will the winning names be with the goats for life, but the winner will get to spend an afternoon with a zookeeper, experiencing behind the scenes of the farm area at Belfast Zoo. They will have an opportunity to get up close and even feed some of the animals, as well as winning a bronze adoption of their named pair!
Entries must be received by Friday 19 March at 3pm.
Zoo manager Mark Challis is looking forward to the competition. He said: “This naming competition is a great opportunity for someone not only to name two of the zoo animals for life, but also to see behind the scenes of a key area here in the zoo. Our last naming competition was a great success so I`m looking forward to this one.”
You can also enter by phoning 028 9078 2085 or by filling in a competition form in our Visitors` Centre when you visit the zoo.
Terms and conditions include:
- Entrants must provide all of the information required to be entered into the competition.
